You've heard the rumours. You've gotten excited. Maybe you've even spoken to your friends about it. But just what is Draft Cider?
Draft Cider is a game that takes all the excitement of apple farming, and packs it into a simple and easy to understand format. In this game, you and your friends will play as Orchard owners, trying your best to maximize your profits for a year.
How do you do this? The astute among you will have noticed that the name sounds like a pun. Indeed it is! Draft Cider is a drafting game, where by players place a round of cards that depends on the number of players face up on the table. Players then take turns selecting cards, and then placing them in their orchards in "Batches". Each batch has a unique rule that must be satisfied to add to it, so be careful which apple you pick each round!
This game is designed for groups of 2-6 players, but it can also be played alone!
The Single Player Variant
In the single player variant your playing only against yourself. Your aim is to maximise your score. This may sound easy, but when you can't see all the available cards it can be quite tricky!
